This is my personal review on Britax Boulevard 65 Click And Safe Car Seat.

As the mom of twins it is important to me that car trips are both safe and trouble free. I admit that for their first car seats I chose a brand that was cute, appeared to be safe and wasn’t as costly. When you have to do everything in double you find yourself trying to cut expenses as much as you can.

From day one the twins have hated car rides. A co-worker suggested that it may be the car seats and recommended that I check out Britax. She swore by her experiences with the brand and highly recommended it as being well worth the price. Since the twins were ready for a front-facing car seat I decided to do a little research and see if maybe she was right.

Only a fool could argue with the customer reviews, safety reports and consumer reports available on the various Britax models. It definitely appeared that these seats were some of the safest available on the market. After looking into the various models available I decided I liked the Boulevard 65 Click and Safe Car Seat. Even though it was a hefty investment, I decided to purchase one for each of the twins. It made sense to have the highest quality seats for the two most precious things in my life.

I will say my first impression was to notice how incredibly large these seats were compared to their infant seats. I drive a large SUV so space isn’t a problem but a person with a smaller car could probably not comfortably fit two of these in the back seat. I had read that they were large but you don’t realize how much bigger they are until you hold one in your hands.

That would be the only negative thought I had. These seats appeared to be super sturdy from the moment I took them out of the box. It was very obvious that safety was top priority to the company in the making of their car seats. They looked like they could withstand a heavy duty impact, although I truly do not wish to find out. But their sturdiness wasn’t the only thing that I noticed when I took them out. The appearance of this Britax Boulevard 65 Click And Safe Car Seat made quite an impression on me from the beginning.

The covers were stylish and attractive. They had a plush fabric that looked like it would be extremely comfortable. It really made those infant seats look miserable in comparison. The fabric may have been cozy but it also seemed like it could hold up to the use of toddlers and that was definitely a plus in my book.

The extra padding around the head and body areas provided a much more appealing look. I could easily see the kids laying their head against those ‘wings’ and sleeping, although sleeping on a car trip would be a first for them.

There are many features on the Britax Boulevard 65 Click And Safe Car Seat that I just adore. After six months of use we have fallen in love with our seats and would never buy a different brand. But before I share the benefits to the parents, let me say that my twins love their seats. Before we bought the Britax Boulevards 65 they had never been content in the car even to go to the grocery store. Yet last month we took a 10 hour, two state trip and they slept and looked contentedly out the window for the entire time. They absolutely cannot wait to get into their seats.

Now back to the pros I have found that I love about the Britax Boulevard 65 Click And Safe Car Seat. For starters this seat is a five point harness. I would never use anything less on my precious cargo. We chose the Click and Safe model because of this very feature. We can hear the click and we know that the harness is snug. This is perfect for when grandma has the twins. She doesn’t have to worry about whether the straps are tight enough. She hears the click and knows it is set.

Installation of the seats was a breeze and we often have to transport the seats between cars. Being the parents of twins we couldn’t afford separate seats for each vehicle so we hand off a lot. It takes a few minutes to get it nice and secure. Once you get it into place it will not move. I am very protective and I can guarantee that I will make certain these seats do not move an inch before I will put my babies in them. They are extremely secure.

Another great thing is that the Britax Boulevard Click and Safe models have a knob that adjusts the headrests and harness heights. This is a fabulous feature. Not only do I not have to take out the seat and do some complicated task to adjust the height, I don’t even have to take them out of the seat. It’s perfect!

The harness adjuster is in the front and this lets me loosen the harness easily. Again I do not have to remove them from the seat and I don’t have to go through a difficult process to achieve the results.

Most car seats are miserable because the straps are uncomfortable for the kids. Not with this model. These straps are really soft and there is a protector over the belly to keep the harness from bothering their sensitive areas.

But when you have two toddlers that require a car seat, possibly the biggest and most important feature is how easy the cleaning is. For this Britax Boulevard 65 Click And Safe Car Seat, it is simple. The cover removes easily and is replaced just as quickly. I am able to take them off as needed and wash them and throw them back on with very little work. But with the durability of these covers it isn’t often that they need cleaning. Spot cleaning works wonders on this fabric.

My only regret when it comes to the Britax Boulevard Click and Safe is that I didn’t start my twins out in one. I didn’t experience these as a rear-facing seat but I am certain they worked just as effectively. I would never use another seat for my child. Best of all if you watch Amazon you can grab a great deal.
